Systems Development and Support

  • A highlight of Westbourne’s technical capability was its selection and subsequent development of the ‘Slipstream’ system at the then Department of Industry Tourism and Resources.  Designed and developed as a green-fields solution, Slipstream proved such a success that that other federal agencies soon embarked on their own projects to implement the system under Westbourne’s management, attesting to both Westbourne’s software development and service delivery capability.
  • The Department of Defence, in the support and development of the AFPEMS systems
  • Passports Australia, where Westbourne was subcontracted to provide key subject matter expertise, development and testing services for passport processing system.
  • Development and maintenance personnel to a vendor of software solutions to the Australian Department of Defence.
